| RESIDENTIAL
PARKING PERMITS FOR RESTRICTED AREAS SURROUNDING THE HIGH SCHOOL Residential
Parking Permits are available at the Lockport Police Department for
those residences within the "No Parking 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m."
restricted zone around the high school. This restricted zone was
created to prevent high school students from parking in front of the
residences while school is in session. However, we have received
complaints from several residents that they have been issued parking
violations in front of their own homes. For this reason, we are
issuing residential parking permits for specified areas surrounding the
schools. Please note, we are still enforcing our ordinance that
prohibits any on-street parking from 3 - 6 a.m. These permits are
no exception. Thank you.
